I’m a Registered Dietitian based in Canada with 24 years of clinical experience, and I’m passionate about helping people with IBS regain confidence, comfort, and freedom around food. I translate complex nutrition science into simple, actionable strategies that actually work in real life.

I know how overwhelming IBS can feel — the constant planning, the fear of triggers, and the frustration of trial-and-error diets. That’s why I created Your IBS Recovery Plan: a step-by-step, supportive program to help you understand your gut, make confident food choices, and get back to enjoying life.

 Who is this program for — and who is it not for?

This program is for adults with IBS who want practical, evidence-based guidance to manage symptoms and feel more confident around food. It is not intended for people with active or recent eating disorders, or medical conditions that require specialized treatment beyond IBS. It’s also not a “cure” — IBS is manageable, but there’s no cure.

 When is my access is up?

The eBook is yours to keep. If you purchased the online recording, it will be available for you to watch for 1 year after you purchase it. The online group will not be recorded, for privacy reasons, but you will have access to the online modules for 6 months after the group sessions are finished.

What if I've already tried to work with another program?

That’s completely okay — many of my clients have tried other programs before finding success. Every plan is different, and sometimes it’s not the approach that’s the problem, it’s how it was implemented or tailored to your unique gut and lifestyle. Your IBS Recovery Plan is designed to meet you where you are, with clear, practical guidance and support so you can make the plan work for your body — not a one-size-fits-all approach.

How do I get access to Julie for 1:1 sessions?

Because I’m a licensed dietitian in Ontario, Canada, 1:1 sessions are available only to residents of Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. If you live outside these provinces, I can help connect you with a qualified dietitian in your area who can provide similar support.

For those who purchase 1:1 sessions as part of a package, appointment booking information will be sent directly after your purchase so you can schedule your sessions at a time that works for you.

What if I'm already working with a dietitian/therapist/doctor/coach/etc.?

That’s great! Your IBS Recovery Plan is designed to complement the support you’re already receiving. You can use the program alongside your current providers to get a structured roadmap, practical tools, and extra guidance for managing your IBS. Nothing here replaces your existing care — it’s meant to give you clarity, confidence, and actionable steps that fit with the plan your other professionals have in place.

Do I need to follow a strict diet or take supplements?

Yes — Phase 1 of the program involves a strict low FODMAP elimination phase to identify your trigger foods. After that, Phases 2 and 3 guide you through reintroduction and personalization, so you’ll gradually learn how to make the diet fit your life. Supplements are optional and only if needed — the program will help you decide what’s right for you.

If you’d like a looser or more individualized approach from the start, this can be arranged through 1:1 sessions with a Registered Dietitian.

Can I do this program if I have other medical conditions?

Generally yes, but it depends on your specific health situation. Your IBS Recovery Plan is designed for typical IBS management, so if you have other medical conditions, it’s a good idea to check with your doctor or current healthcare provider before making dietary or lifestyle changes.

If you’d like personalized guidance to adapt the program safely for your unique health needs, 1:1 sessions with a Registered Dietitian are available.

Will this program work if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

The program isn’t designed specifically for pregnancy or breastfeeding. While some guidance may be helpful, it’s important to consult your healthcare provider and/or dietitian for personalized recommendations during these times.

Can I do the program on my phone, tablet, or computer?

Yes! The videos, worksheets, and all program materials are accessible on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, so you can work through the program wherever it’s convenient for you.

Is there a guarantee?

Because everyone’s IBS experience is unique, I can’t promise a specific outcome — there’s no “cure” for IBS. What I can promise is that this program is built on evidence-based strategies and my 24 years of clinical experience, giving you clear guidance, practical tools, and support to help you feel more confident managing your gut. If you follow the program and use the tools, you’ll have a roadmap to better understand your triggers, make informed food choices, and navigate life with less stress around your gut.

How long is the program?

The program itself is self-paced, and you’ll have access to all materials for a full year. 1:1 sessions are scheduled individually and can be booked at times that work for you. If you find you need more guidance down the road, additional sessions can be arranged — you’re not limited to just the initial three.

How do I get my questions answered?

You can always email me with any questions. I do my best to respond within 48 hours on weekdays, but please keep in mind that I’m just one person — if I’m getting lots of questions, it might take a little longer. I’ll always make sure you get the guidance you need!

What if I've never used an online program before?

No worries — the program is designed to be easy to follow, even if you’ve never done an online course. The videos and materials are straightforward, step-by-step, and self-paced, so you can move through them at your own speed. Plus, if you join the live group or add 1:1 sessions, you’ll have extra guidance and support along the way.

What if I don't like the program?

Due to the nature of digital programs and included resources, all sales are final and I do not offer refunds. That said, the program is designed to be practical, flexible, and evidence-based, so if you have questions or need guidance while going through it, I’m here to support you along the way.
